Cage around the heat and A/C unit
I had a somewhat scary experience a few afternoons ago.
I’ve constantly been someone that enjoys sleeping by my window, it’s just entirely soothing to me.
I have my bed directly aligned with the window. I was sleeping because it was late last night, and it was normal for me to be in bed around this hour. I woke up to the sounds of something or someone banging metal, and after that I heard a big thud and what sounded like footsteps. When I woke up I couldn’t believe what I saw there was a person dressed in all black tinkering with my heating and air conditioner unit. My first reaction was shock and fear so I screamed and I think my scream was enough to just frighten him off. I think he was trying to dismantle my heating and A/C system. Maybe he wanted to get to the copper fillings that were inside of it. I don’t know why he was there but I immediately jumped up and called the police. I was entirely relieved when they told me that they were able to catch the guy and that I didn’t have to worry about him damaging my heating and A/C system. What kind of crazy world do we live in where I can’t even go without worrying about my heating and cooling system? I am going to have a metal cage installed around it, then something has to be done to protect my heating and air conditioning unit. Normally when I am going to sleep at night next to the window I can hear the sound of the air conditioner equipment running. It is a calming sound that helps to put me to sleep, hopefully I won’t have to suffer anything like this again.
