College student threw a fit about the temperature in class

In addition to being a high school teacher, I have taught college classes at night to make extra money and because I absolutely love to educate others.

One of the downsides of being an adjunct instructor is not being as familiar with the classroom I teach in. I am very familiar with my high school classroom because I am there everyday. I am less familiar with my college classroom because I am only there one night a week. I did notice that it felt quite warm in my college classroom, but the thermostat read that it was on. I opened the door to help cool down the classroom. When the students came in, I apologized for the temperature and I told them that I sent an email to see if the college HVAC technician would come out and check on the thermostat. Most of the students were super understanding about the air conditioning not working well. It was warm in the room, but it was not excruciatingly hot. One of my students complains about everything. He is the type of student to try to argue with his professors about losing one point on an assignment. He threw a fit about the air conditioning not working well. In the middle of my lecture, he stood up and started yelling that it is impossible to learn in this environment and I should know how to fix the thermostat. I calmly and politely asked him to leave the classroom, as I already explained that I cannot fix the thermostat and it is out of the code of conduct to yell at your professor.
